Who We Are
Friends of the Plaza is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting, preserving and enhancing the Plaza Theatre as a vibrant center for arts, entertainment and community connection.
We're the people who love hearing the first notes of a live performance. Who laugh a little too loudly at comedy shows. Who appreciate seeing a favorite classic film on the big screen. Who know there's something special about watching the lights dim before a performance begins.
Most importantly, we're people who believe the Plaza is worth preserving.
Our Purpose
Friends of the Plaza provides financial and community support for the Plaza Theatre, including programming, operations and facility improvements that help sustain live performing arts, film and cultural experiences for the benefit of our community.
Through memberships, donations, fundraising and community engagement, we help ensure the Plaza continues to thrive today and well into the future.
